Take a Kid Mountain BikingWe are excited about the 4th annual Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day event on June 10th from 9 – 11 am at Valmont Bike Park in Boulder, CO. There will be lots of exciting activities for kids to participate in.
Join us at the 23rd Annual Starlight Spectacular – June 17th, 2017. This fun night-time bicycle ride is suitable for most ages and abilities. We’ve had kids as young as 8 and adults in their 80s ride with us! This year’s theme is SUPERHEROES, so start planning your costumes now. Proceeds benefit the Trails and Open Space Coalition – dedicated to preserving open space and parks and creating a network of trails, bikeways and greenways for the Pikes Peak region.
B Strong Ride
Join Bicycle Village in Boulder Saturday, August 12 for the 7th annual Celestial Seasonings B Strong Ride. The B Strong Ride is four fully-supported route choices with lavishly-stocked aid stations. There's an excellent post ride party with Jakarta band and fantastic food. Families & non-riders welcome. Support great causes! B Strong funds a complete year of cancer care at the Center for Integrative Care at Boulder Community Hospital and also benefits the George Karl Foundation.
We are proud to sponsor the Bailey HUNDO once again this year! The mountain bike ride features two levels, a 90 mile HUNDO route and the 50 mile HUNDitO route. Riders both start and finish in Bailey, CO and will explore the Buffalo Creek Trail System throughout the course. The ride supports two youth biking initiatives in Colorado: Trips For Kids Denver/Boulder, and Colorado High School Cycling League.
A chapter of IMBA, is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and improving mountain biking on the Colorado Front Range. The organization is committed to being an advocacy voice for all mountain bikers, building and maintaining trails, teaching proper trail use, and working with government on land management decisions.
Recycle Bicycles gladly accepts donations of used bicycles and related items. Our volunteers repair and redistribute them at no cost to inner city shelters, housing projects and schools. Since 1994, the collective has redistributed over 13,000 bicycles!
