You wonder what thought and design goes into Blackburn products... the Flea is a nice idea but 1) you can't recharge it without taking off the ultra-fiddly velcro mount, and 2) once you have the velcro mount on it's too big to fit around most handlebars. So however good the its really next to impossible to actually use.

Bought this light last March and never really needed it until late September. Although I am impressed with the brightness when it works the charge has never lasted more than a half hour at most. The other night it lasted 10 - 12 minutes and I had to ride in the dark. Not a good feeling! Bottom line - I did recmmend to a friend before I had used mine and hers seems to work fine. So, I guess I got a bad one. However, I don't think I could recommend it again.

I use the product 1-2 times per week and it is bright. This is my 2nd blackburn lite in 9 years and I will buy my next lite from them. only issue that i have is the mount is a velcro strap that needs to be adjusted every time i put it on my bike. 3-4 hour battery life is good but could be better

This little light is awesome. I use as a back up to my niterider one on training rides - yes I do ride in the morning in the winter when it's pitched dark and it's bright enough to see in front of you about 40 yards or so. It takes no time to charge and the battery life is great. There is NO WAY people cannot see you when you have this thing on blinking mode! This sucker is bright. I do use the tail light as well.
